She was born in Black Forest and she studied at the Mercator-University in Duisburg, where she passed the first and the second state examination.

As a teacher she taught music and religious education for the interdisciplinary domain of design in Duisburg and Düsseldorf.

Since 1990 she has concentrated on doing painting and since then she has opened a lot of exhibitions in several places such as Cologne, Essen, Bochum, Baden-Baden and in Switzerland.

During a trianual stay in Baden-Baden she joined the artist association ‘Steinbach-Ensemble’. She has been living and painting in Twann, Bielersee in Switzerland since the beginning of 2006.

She continues visiting Germany. There she keeps in touch with the artist groups ‘Circe-Art’ in Oberhausen and ‘Steinbach-Ensemble’ in Baden-Baden.
